  a new religion?.

  it has been a while that i didn't post.

  as some of you may know i live in italy and ( maybe ) something curious is happening.

  it has been a while that I didn't post. As some of you may know I live in Italy and ( maybe ) something curious is happening. Since a couple of months a group of elders ( ex elders maybe?? ) ) and bethelites ( ex? ) started a new religion called.

  By the way; they will deny they are Jws or exJws but it is to evident they are.

  
  

  They have a website where they explain their theories. For example; instead of calling god Jehovah they call him Yahweh and they don't obey to,the GB but besides this it is the usual JW crap or even worse.

  
  

  Besides this they have another website geova.org where they try to wake up Jws by explaing them ( a lot of posts ) that everything what the Wts has told them till now is complety wrong.

  
  

  The point is ; their BS is even worse! How can people after a life in the Wts even consider to switch, will they ever learn?

  
  

  I don't think that a lot of Jws follow them, maybe more people like us.

  The Org is terrified of apostates

  i knew apostasy was a serious concern for the org, but until i watched this video, i had no idea how afraid they actually were.

  all this guy wants is to do is not turn in his fs hours and immediately they (elders) set about drilling him about who are what influenced his decision, as if he was incapable of making his own (which as the elders confirm, in the org is highly discouraged).

  they are convinced he has been communicating with apostates or visiting apostate web sites.

  remember those one word comments that the infants and preteens would make to be a part of the indoctrination sessions.. i think probably governing body and faithful & discreet slave might become more and more the favorite even surpassing jehovah and jesus..

  I REALLY HAVE TO REPLY!!!!!!!! About 20 years ago I used to go with my jw wife ( very liberal and I am and was agnostic ) and our two children to the KH on sundays. Of course they tried to convince and indoctrinate me but I thought at that time it was ok to be with my wife. Finally it was the turn of my 2 years old son to reply ( he had to say Jehovah ) but he said; BATMAN!!!!!!!!!

  Must say that we were all laughing in th KH and no need to say that my son ( he is 22 now ) didn't become a Jw.

  His sister ( 27 years old now ) was for once very proud of her brother......

  Germany Branch Visit May 10 by Mark Sanderson

  this saturday is the branch visit of mark sanderson in the selters german bethel.. there will be a video streaming for all the congs.. some of you might have heard branch visit talks of sanderson.. will there be something special or controversial?.

  i am not sure if i should attend even if it's just for noting or recording some controversial stuff.

  would be hard though, 3 hours of wasted time.

  joined the site, not that i have much to share.. i'm married to a jw (wife).

  i never have been or will be a jw, i honestly hate the wt (not the jws).

  being married to a jw, can sometimes make you crazy, i never believed any of the bs.

  I have a similar situation, I married a Jw 28 years ago, we have 3 children ( 27,22,14 ) all of them don't want to know anything about the cult.

  
  

  She goes a couple of times a month to the Sunday morning meetimg but no assemblies. I stopped going about 15/20 years go and since 6/7 years I don't go to the memorial.

  Need your thoughts... Again

  (sorry for any typos, i'm on my ipad) so, remember how in my last post i mentioned that i had told some of my dear friends why i decided to leave?

  well, one of those friends was a girl... not just any girl, but rather, a girl that i've loved since the moment i've met her.

  she used to say that she considered me her best friend and we were really close she just never really returned my feelings for her due to different circumstances i presume.. but i always felt a connection.. anyways, after telling her that i decided to leave because of multiple reasons but that the tolerance of child sex abuse was the final straw, she responded asking where i got my information and that she wanted to talk about it with me.. this feels like an opportunity for me to tell her about my findings, what do you think?

  Pizza Heaven

  i haven't had pizza in absolute ages!!!

  today our boss bought in 20 various pizzas to say "well done" for the month of march.

  i've eaten like 5 slices already.

  Louise, I am so sorry to tell you this but the real and only pizza you can get is in Napoli and where I live ( 400 miles away ) pizza is ok but not as it is in the " real " pizzerias in Napoli, so I would say;" don't worry to much ".

  KH 1st timer, could use some advice

  hey people, .

  i am soon going into a kh for the first time and i could use some advice around etiquette etc.

  i know next to nothing besides the fundamental beliefs of jws, i personally dont believe in any religion, and that stance isnt ever going to change, however i don't want to come across as rude or disrespectful.

  ok, it seems a bit like my story ( except the beginning ) so yes do your best to keep the family togheter and some visits to the KH won't hurt but be careful because they ( JWs ) have only one purpose and that is to get you as a baptized and paying/working member of their community.
